1. You submit your song (.mp3) and lyrics
It's easy. Using our handy-dandy submission form. Don't forget to read the agreement - we paid our lawyers good money to write it and they get cranky when people don't read their stuff. Basically, it covers you and it covers us and you should never submit something you put your blood, sweat and tears into without reading what you're getting yourself into.
2. You will be allowed to submit ONE song upon initial registration.
Once that song is approved, your account will be activated and you can submit more songs directly from your account page.
3. We listen to your song.
We do this because we like to listen to music around here...and because we need to check for offending content.
Please understand that we take your submission very seriously and it is often listened to by multiple people. Due to high volume at various times, this means that we may not get back to you right away regarding approval. Your patience is appreciated while we give your song and everyone else's song appropriate review.
4. We send you an e-mail letting you know your song has been accepted.
Remember, we're not here to judge your music, we just want to give you a platform to be heard but we obviously can't put offending content up on our network.
5. There will be occasions when we cannot accept your song for play on our network.
- You will receive an e-mail if your song is not accepted along with a reason for denial.
- The most obvious reason would be inappropriate content. Although we're not in the censorship business, the beauty of our network is that it reaches the ears of EVERY walk-of-life. This means that we have to be very careful about what we what we air. If the ONLY reason your song is denied is due to a random offensive word here or there, you will be given the opportunity to re-submit the song in a "radio-edit" version.
- Another reason we may deny your song is due to the quality of the recording. We pump our sound out through some pretty high-tech stuff and if the quality of the recording isn't up-to-par, then we compromise the quality of our product.
